Other Public Policies
In addition to expanding recess and including physical & health education indicators in the state’s A-F school grading formula, we will be working on many other public policy improvements.
We are committed to pursuing policy change in win-win and school-friendly ways, partnered with education and health leaders, businesses, and communities.
These include:
- Accountably increasing quality physical education time in schools
- Developing a “whole-child” report card for each school to help parents find healthy schools
- Developing sustainable private & public funds to expand and support effective, affordable policy changes on a large scale. This will provide high ROIs to funders and becoming self-funding—in some cases with first-year payback.
